Nubian

Colt  We purchased Colt in February 2014 for $50 without papers.  He was our first bottle baby.  His owner advertised him as a purebred Nubian buckling  sired by  Starfire's Magic Mike.  His dam is Aubretia (The Kedushah Farm).  We intend to breed him with our unregistered Nubian/Saanen Crosses.  Colt's dam is a big doe (~190 lbs and a heavy producer according to his previous owner).  Being that Nubian milk has the highest butterfat of dairy goat breeds, we chose to increase the Nubian bloodline in our herd.  If Colt works out, we will explore the possibility of getting him registered.
